Tambahan Ilmu dari buku "My Dad My Pious Dad"
My Dad My Pious Dad ( ayahku, ayah yang sholeh )
'Di dunia ini, Nak, tidak ada kesuksesan sekecil apa pun yang bisa dicapai dengan mudah. Memulai sebuah usaha baru sama beratnya dengan penderitaan seorang ibu melahirkan bayi. Keduanya sama-sama menuntut pengorbanan, pemikiran, keringat, ketahanan menanggung rasa sakit, bahkan sering kali nyawa. Namun keteguhan hati kita untuk terus melangkah, insya Allah itulah yang akan membawa kita menuju perubahan. Melangkahlah, Nak. Lebih baik melangkah seribu langkah untuk mencari air, daripada membiarkan diri mati kehausan di tengah padang pasir.''
Itulah sepenggal pesan sang ayah (Abak) yang melekat pada diri ust Arsil Ibrahim, penulis buku ini. Lewat tulisan berjudul "Buyung Miskin Mulai Merantau" (halaman 25), ust Arsil memotret kegigihan sang ayah yang dipanggilnya dengan sebutan Abak, seorang tukang sol sepatu di Pasar Atas Bukit Tinggi. Profesinya tak membuatnya minder untuk berkenalan dan bersahabat dengan ulama besar. Abak pun rajin menghadiri pengajian para ulama di sana.
Para jamaah masjid di Pasar Atas Bukit Tinggi termasuk buya-buya menyangka Abak adalah seorang pengusaha besar di Pasar Atas. Mereka pun terkejut begitu melihat Abak duduk mengesol sepatu. ''Abak miskin harta tapi jiwa merasa berharga, Kerja emperan namun hati penuh dengan kegembiraan.''

Begitulah beberapa penggalan kalimat yang ane baca dari buku yang telah ane beli melalui koperasi di kantor tanggal 14 April yang lalu. Alhamdulillah banyak sekali pelajaran dan kisah teladan yang dapat ane ambil dari buku yang dituliskan oleh ustadz yang sering mengisi pengajian di masjid kantor ane. setelah membaca buku ini ada beberapa senang yang ane rasakan : pertama senang karena telah mendapat banyak tambahan ilmu yang disampaikan dengan bahasa sastra yang mengugah dari buku ini, kedua senang karena telah membaca buku dari seorang yang ane kagumi dan selalu ane tunggu" kehadirannya untuk mengisi pengajian rabu siang..
jazakallah ustadz atas tambahan ilmunya.. smoga Allah senantiasa melimpahkan keberkahan dalam setiap aktivitas dakwahmu..n satu lagi sering-sering ngisi pengajian di masjid kantor ane yach...( spesial request nich...:D )
